HAHHAHAA
No.
Actually Albert Hoffman (the Swiss dude who made it) was actually looking for some sort of pregnancy shit or whatever (I’ll find a link in a bit) in Ergot and synthesized LSD in 1938 and first ingested it in 1944? or 45 I can’t remember off the top of my head.

Beatles didn’t make it popular either, it was popular before everyone knew the Beatles were doing it.

Yeah the Beatles started tripping when they released Rubber Soul, which was like 1966 I think.
LSD becoming popular can be pointed towards a few different factors.
The CIA did MK-ULTRA to see if they could use it as a truth serum that turned into a major phail.

It was ’43.
I only know this cause I was reading up on Bicycle Day just a couple of days ago.

No.
Timothy Leary did. He had a job at a Veteran’s hospital or something like that, as a janitor, and he would use his janitorial fukken-hueg keyring to go inside the rooms where they stored the LSD and take it and trip balls while talking to the patients in the hospital. Or something like that; thats what the History Channel (or Nat-Geo, I cant remember) said.
Apparently, Leary was also a normal, white collar factory worker before becoming some kind of Hippie messiah.

I forgot to add on that bit about Leary.
Once he started getting the acid from the Veteran’s hospital, hed take more and distribute it, but then I forget how he made it.
He did make it more popular than the Beatles did, since he did The Acid Test.

Quote: The guy who thought of Alice in Wonderland was on acid.
Alice in Wonderland was based off of two books written by Lewis Carroll, "Through the Looking Glass" and "Alices Adventures in Wonderland"
But I neither know about whomever thought of the movie to be on acid.
Piles--http://www.wikipedia.org
http://www.erowid.org
But your best bet would be to buy "Food of the Gods" by Terrence McKenna,

Actually Clegg, I believe Albert was looking to make regular aspirin, but obviously messed up and touched some of it. It went through his skin.
The Beatles didn’t make LSD popular. They were known for using it, yes, but didn’t make it popular.
Fact: Edison didn’t actually invent the light bulb.

No fucking shit the guy who created Alice in Wonderland was on Acid, along with shrooms.
That movie is one massive subliminal message.
While LSD was slowly becoming more and more popular, nobody can deny that The Beatles did spur an even greater interest in it.
Fact: Bungle is a babe.
Fact: The Beatles did numerous drugs, including but not limited too: Barbiturates, Opiates, Marijuana, LSD, Mushrooms, Cocaine, Heroin, and Alcohol.

Fact:Most people say they only stick to natural drugs (weed, and shrooms) but little do they know cocaine is actually a natural made drug but turns into a man made drug through selling. Alot of people who deal cocaine will add baby powder, flour, fine shards of glass and other harmful objects to make the product weigh more so they get more money.

The guy who created Alice in Wonderland (Lewis Carroll) couldn’t have been on acid since he wrote it in the late 1800’s and acid wasn’t first used until 1943.
There are some people who think he used laudunum, which is an opiate, while he was thinking up the stories but that hasn’t been proven.
It was most likely just nonsense which he originally told to entertain some children and then later wrote them down.
