Last night there was an earthquake in Eastern Illinois that we felt all the way here in Lousiville, Ky. I think it was 5.2 on the rickter scale. I had never experienced an earthquake before, and surely never expected to experience one here in Ky, so my first thought was that it was a tornado. I woke up and jumped out of bed to head downstairs, but by the time I got out into the hallway the shaking had stopped. It was pretty crazy.
Did anybody else feel it?

It was a 5.4, and I live in eastern IL and slept right through it.

If I had known at first that it was an earthquake I probably wouldn’t have cared very much. What scared me was the dreadful noise made from the ceiling fan above my head, then mix that with the shaking of the floor, and I thought for sure that a tornado was going to tear the roof off the house at any second.

That’s just fuckin’ weird.
I live in Ca, didn’t feel an earthquake, but last night I dreamed there was a 5.0 or some shit.. and everyone was trippin’. Intense..

the 1 here in the UK a while back was definitely an inconvinience.
i was playing my ancient barely working PS1 which was very vunarable to even the most gentle knocks with a couple of mates and the obvious happened, with no memory card and 3 drinks spilt every where. I have come to hate earthquakes.

I was at work when it happened. I didnt notice it because the pressline always makes vibrations throughout the warehouse.

i live in south east iowa way at the bottom way way way way at the tip bottom of the state and i was laying on the couch and it moved and shook the couch two or three feet it was intense. id never felt the after shock of an earthquake before ive never felt an earthquake ethir so i was like what the fuck
