I was reading the "Head’s up." thread and it really hit me, RE is down in the toilet. I think theres about two or three new members and they never log on again. Its from some of the websites bugs and its also the members but I think Rotteneggs.com - A Social Network For Pranksters is outdated. Look at most of the egg’s there about photoshop and homemade weapions,scams and stuff like that. I think we need to have a big change from Pranksters to online misfits. Not saying that should be our new caption, but thats why other sites are beating us out. If you want to get into the sites bugs, there BAD,
Im willing to help pay for a professional to remake the site, if you guys want to help out too, our best years were 05/06 and I want to unleash RE’s full power.
The main point of the post was to set up a group to help fund the fix of rotteneggs bugs and get a professional to really remake the site for the old school members and the newer people.
What new features would you like to see in the site?

Oh well nevermind then lol.
There is no way you will be able to spread wide RE’s "Potential" unless you either put a gun to weasels head and force him to fix this shit hole, or you find a way to fix it yourself.
Ultimately no matter what you do nothing will change as weasel doesnt want to spend his time doing anything by the looks of it.

I agree. It would be cool for RE to get some new slogans and other things. I think it would also be cool to have the eggs arranged a little more like Instructables has their site. Like computer tutorials, building things tutorials all kinds of stuff like that. But also keep a spot dedicated for pranks. As for the forums they can pretty much just stay the same, but become more active as more people join and stuff like that.

Why the fuck can’t we do this? Someone can make a new site if there up for it and make it better. If we kept a thread alive on this RE that said this site sucks as of now gtfo to new site. We could possibly move the eggs if need be, but I really think this can happen.

Theres a lot of members under level 15 who have either been here for a while, are really good members, or just dont feel like upgrading.

Weasel and the functionability of the site has nothing to do with the quality of the site. Period.
Its all you guys. Its all your guys’ fault for sacrificing quality for quantity just so the site can "stay alive". This is a submission-based site. We can have these contests and shit, we can have eggs dedicated to all that other stuff, we still have a spot dedicated to pranks, and we can do all that other shit you guys want to do.
But youre all too busy blathering on about your offline lives to try and sound cool that you never get any actual meaningful content posted on the site. Hell, you all jam your posts about your offline lives in places where it doesnt even belong half the time, and either dont realize it, are trying to get PC+1, or are just trying to brag about it.
Start using online for online, and use offline for offline.
