Never been there. And honestly I couldn’t play guitar to save my life. At least I couldn’t a few years ago, but I still probably couldn’t today though. All I can do is sing. Drums, Guitar, Bass, even a damn flute, you wouldn’t see me hit one note.

Yeah, its definatly sweet there. Its good to have a place where they don’t bitch at you for playing the guitars like some stores. Did they have a vintage room at the one in Dayton???

There’s a Guitar Center nearby in Sacramento, luckily there’s a local instrument store here in Davis that’s less than ten minutes away called Watermelon Music.
It’s about half the size of a Guitar Center and doesn’t have quite as big of a selection, but it still has a lot of stuff, so I end up going there rather than Guitar Center.

I’ve gotten a majority of my equipment from GC. It’s great, the GC here is right next to the local mall, so my friends and I would hit the mall foodcourt and then walk to the guitarcenter to jam on the guitars we couldn’t afford when we didn’t have anything better to do. Now we all drive so we find outher things to do, but GC still remains my source of music equipment.

yeah, I been there, I played some electronic drums and a Fender jazz bass too. This kid wanted to jam, but I’m not really good enough because I don’t own one to practice on. maybe I can get a bass this summer. Bass is really easy so it would be easy to get in a band and have fun.
