that I can do on a laptop offline for long amounts of time. Maybe games that require low graphics card. Im going to Florida tomorrow for a week and it’s going to be a long boring drive.

Not enough time to download anything, as I am leaving at 4 am, it is 10:55 now. Probably be on highway so not much wifi. And Socializing is boring after a while

theres time to download FL studio demo. its about 100 megs and if you have audacity, just save your patterns and mix them in that so that you dont have to buy the full version.

If you are willing to spend some money, get one of those broadband cards. (I meant the USB ones, incase you don’t have a slot for them)
Also, you could put music and movies on it and use headphones.
If it has XP, play Spider Solitare, except that can get old after a while.
Download a bunch of Virus scanners and Spyware Scanners and spend the time cleaning up the laptop. Go through and delete the shit you don’t use anymore, organize your music folders, stuff like that.

Hmm.
Learn some languages before you go and on the drive over, try to make a website about something.
Also, download some porns and music videos and movies just to take breaks from the long boring moments of staring at notepad.

Hmm age of empires seems good, I’ve never played it but Ima downloadin. So far I have fruity loops 8 maybe starcraft, and age of empites and a couple movies
