Okay, I’m in the market for some good PS2 games to get my hands on.
These good games I already have:
Hitman: Blood Money
007: Everything or Nothing
Timesplitters 3: Future Perfect
007: From Russia With Love
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
Is 007 Goldeneye Rouge Agent good and worth it?
And a few others on my list which I can’t think of at the moment.
I Want to get both GTA Stories (Vice City and Liberty City stories) - which ones better and worth getting first?
What’s some good games I could also acquire? I’m in the mood for something F/TPS (First or Third person shooter), nothing racing, etc.
I tried playing Conflict at a mates place but sucked ass at it. I might get that to improve on it, but later on.
What good games do you play that are worth getting? (Off eBay of course)...
Cheers
DaDevil.

Yeah GTA is good definatly, but since I’ve got 3, Vice City, and San Andreas I thought it might be pointless getting them again on PS2. Is there any differences between the PC and PS2 versions of the games? In-game I mean, etc.
Also, how do I go about setting up and doing this whole PS2 "online Net Play" stuff or whatever? How does it work, like Xbox live or whatever?
Thanks for the suggestions Max
xD
(Pity GTA IV isnt out on PS2) haha.

Yeah I read up about Vice City Stories and compared it to what I read about Liberty City stories, and it sounds alot better.
I’ve played Underground (quite a while ago), that’s actually a pretty good game too from what I remember (if its the same game i’m thinking of haha).
And as for GH, I play real guitar, lol. Guitar Hero never really appealed to me, lol - and yes I’ve played it (GH2 and 3 at JB HiFi when they came out, lol).
thx man

1st one
3rd one
2nd one
haven’t played the 4th one

oh and Rouge Agent wasn’t that good.

Okay cool, sounds good, cheers MP.
Yeah Chip, SA is good, but as I said, I’ve got it on PC, is it worth getting it again for PS2? Is there any major differences, etc to the PS2 version compared to PC? What’s different, etc. Are the controls easier? That kinda stuff...
Oh, and I’ll be wanting to get the original SA if I get it on PS2, as it has that Hot Coffee mod I’ve heard oh so much about., haha.
Also, is The Godfather a good game? I’ve seen it being played at a mates place, and looks pretty good (seems to be run from the exact same engine they used for 007: From Russia with Love, game-play wise, etc).

Oh, and I’m also in the market for a Network Adapter, as I can then equip the PS2 with a Hard drive, and therefore leading to some major softmodding which I want to get into also.
Any tips to people who have softmodded theirs or have put in a harddrive? Also, what would be a good Modchip to get?
I’ve got a 30003 series PS2 if that helps...

Yeah the MGS series are good. I’ve only played Sons of Liberty, but I hear Snake Eater is pretty good too (refering to MGS 3).
Cheers man.
Still asking for people to post in regards to my previous post also:

my friends got the hdd when they first came out.
they did it soley to get new socom maps.
they say that they are a waste of money. all i can see you doing with it is possibly backing up games, which sounds cool, but in reallity is pretty pointless. i don’t know anything about other softmods, sorry.
the network adapter is still useful if you plan to play on line, but if you don’t pass that up as well. with the money you saved on not buying these things, you can get a better mod chip. and make sure you get an actuall chip that has to be soldered on (find someone else to solder for you if you aren’t that good, because it’s pretty tricky) becasue they have alot of features.
