I was thinking about selling my computer, cause i dont really get time to use it anymore. I was just wondering if anybody could give me a rough estimate to sell for.
Specs are as follows.
Case=Standard black atx case
P.S= 480 watt power supply
Dvd drive= Sony, with lightscribe
processor= 2.8 ghz amd athalon 64x x2 dual core 5400 +
Ram= 2 gig’s of 533? mhz of ddr2 ram
Hd= 1 250gig seagate barracuda
1 100 gig maxtor
Just a random high speed modem
and a : ATI Radeon X1550 Series
this computer is also capable of playing crysis
Its running windows xp longhorn
Any input would be great
thanks

Goddamn that sounds like an awesome computer.
Id say maybe either $500 more than you bought it (or bought the parts you used to build it) for. Considering a computer like that from a major retailer already built (Dell, HP, eMachines, etc.) would be a little over $2000 (my estimate), you should get at least more than $1700.

yeah i’d say 500 at the max.
you are never going to turn a profit on a used self built system unless you find someone who is a total dumb ass. and remember to reformat your hard drives if you do sell it.
