First my cube arrives now I find this at the dump with a gig of ram and an Athlon XP 2000+ already installed! I finally got myself a media pc!
...or at least I will once I fond a fucking hard drive that’s not dead in on way or another.

Shut up. I just woke up.
Well the PSU in the thing is a little dead and since it’s a very special PSU (it’s very small) I assume they just tossed the whole thing and got something else.
Grrr..I’m on my third hard disk and it too refuses to format.
I’m all out of 20+ Gb drives now.

Well it looks like I’m going to have to say screw it with the hard drive until later this summer when I buy two 500Gb SATA drives and free up a 120Gb and a 40Gb drive.
In the meantime I put a WinTV card in the thing as well as installed a DVD-RW drive and an LS-120 drive (a very fast floppy drive) and pulled the two 512Mb sticks so I could use them in my PC (which badly needs some temporary ram until I get those three Corsair sticks later this summer).
Here is the case and how small it is compared to the NeXT Cube.
One last thing. the reason both drives are missing their fronts is because the DVD burner was in a house fire and the front melted off (yet the drive still reads and writes fine) and the LS-120 had its front smashed and I’m looking for a replacement.
