BYE BYE RE! IM GOING TO MISS YOU SO MUCH! YOU’VE ALWAYS BEEN THERE FOR ME BUT NOW YOU SUCK SO BAD CAUSE NEWBIES ARE GAY AND BLAH BLAH BLAH.
no actually, im not leaving RE (well i WILL be but not permanently)
im leaving my city at the end of this school eyar (or when i have exactly $1000 saved up, which ever comes first) and im going wandering.
I’m turning 18 in august, and there is nothing left for me in this city, so i plan on hitching a ride to the states or something, wandering around down there.
maybe go to the east coast and see if i can get a job on a ship or something to get across the atlantic.
i’d love to visit europe.
any suggestions on where to go?
what to bring?
anyone want to chill out during the summer?
im literally willing to travel ANYWHERE, so give me ideas.

Go to Boston Massachusetts and tell me how it is. I’ve always wanted to go there.

Boston is one of the cleanest and purist city on the US it is my favorite city and has an amazing history. I am a New Englander its amazing.
You are going to start a new life with 1000 dollars?

I’d suggest Amsterdam. I know that the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, Maryland gets a lot of shipping traffic. Its probably one of the biggest ports on the East Coast and gets a lot of imports and exports to Europe. That would be my suggestion, although I’m not sure how easy it is to get a job on one of the ships

naw TDD, not trying to start a new life.
just trying to temporarily get away from the one im currently living.
sooo i wander around, do random jobs for a few days, keep myself fed that way, and eventually when im either so piss broke that im dying of hunger, or whenever i think my time is up, i’ll head back to canada, and pick up where i left off.

I’m just wondering if you would be happy saving maybe 6000 dollars and give yourself some options, maybe you find a place where you love and don’t wanna leave with that amount of money you could use for a while until you get an everyday job.

You’re in Markham, right? You should come on down here to Hamilton for a while, see some indie concerts.

$1,000 in the states might buy you a cheese burger and a taxi ride...

Come here. Standard of living is really low, theres some fine chicks, and its really fun to go to The Wall (a mesa) if you have an ATV, dirt bike, or truck.

This sounds like fun.
Wouldn’t it be great to have a big barbecue for all the RE members in a certain area? Never gonna happen, but still.
And yeah, that’s Hamilton, Ontario.

I don’t know about passenger trains, but there’s tracks going around, mostly to the harbour. I’ll check right now.
