allright im typing fast and shitty
because im at a internet cafe in the mall and I don’t have much time left...
Can anyone help me choose a paintball gun?
Most I’m paying is 200$ so i was thinking a tippmann 98 custom or a tippmann a5...
Now I know the a5 is so much better but i thought if i bought the 98 custom then i would have money left over for gas and balls(lol) and maybe some pods.
I want the a5 because it never jams unless you have really greasy balls.
Allright help me out here guys :D

I’d say if its your first get the 98 custom, till your a little more experienced then get the a5.

Allright thanks P_A, I’m gonna get the 98 soon, I mean, I wouldn’t wanna waste that much money if I wasn’t gonna stick to the sport, right?

I hope you see this soon, but here’s my input
Get the 98 Custom. The real advantage to the A5 is the Cyclone Feed. However, with this being your first gun, you won’t need the extra fire power, unless you’re shooting a lot and/or wasting paint. NOW HERE’S THE KICKER. A 98 Custom will run you around $150. If you get to the point where you want the extra rate of fire and the insurance of no ball breaks, you can buy a Cyclone Feed for the 98 Custom for about $60. Also, any real upgrades with an advantage come for the 98 and the A5. E-grips, Response Triggers, Low Pressure kits, all come for the 98 as well as the A5.
In short, the A5 is newer and looks badass, but the 98C is perfect for a beginner woods-baller
