What software is best to copy DVD’s. Just curious. Keep in mind that if I bothered copying DVD’s I would already know the answer to this but I don’t. Just curious. :D

Roxio is a very good program if your doing legal things.
Alcohol, however, is by far my favorite. It’s also multiplatform.
If you wanna go for free, there are a few programs that will let you rip things to your computer as an ISO, you can then burn the ISO, which will usually bypass the safeguards.
Also, if you have 2 burners, doing a direct copy with really old software can work wonders as well, since it’ll copy direct instead of reading it first.

converts any media INTO DVD format, tthen burns it straight to a DVD
it’s light, and works well, and has great optional features.

I also use DVD Shrink; you can even keep the extra features and stuff, and you can choose to leave things out like extra languages on the disc, or whatever if you want to save space.

You can copy unprotected DVD but I think you might have to buy black market software to "hypothetically" Copy encrypted DVD’s.

Definetly use the program DVD43 to decrypt the copyprotection then use a good legal software such as nero or roxio. The best and most time efficient way.
Rip the dvd to your hardrive with Nero Recode then burn the DVD video files off of your harddrive onto a blank disc. This method also makes it easier to make multiple copies efficiently.
