I’m curious and bored (hence the forum fight thread).
So everyone post the specs of your computer(s)/laptop(s) and brag or whine about them
Mine:
since my motherboard got fried recently I am stuck using a dull little win98 laptop which has the following... (as far as I know the thing is ancient)
600mhz
64mb of RAM
5gb HDD
I’ll find more later.

Quote: 600mhz

i’m whining about the spec and be getting a top of the range custom laptop in a few months anyway.
playing the sympophy card saying i desparately need a new one for school seemed to work and get me a temporary solution (hence the ancient laptop), otherwise I couldn’t be here in the first place.

Definitely not spectacular, or even up to date, my desktop specs (I got a laptop, Nov 2007, much faster)
Dell Dimension 4500
windows xp, sp2, home edition
Pentium 4, 2 ghz
mainboard so obscure i can’t find a bios update for it.
512mb ram
nvidia fx5500 agp 4x 256mb, OC some 12%
70 gb hdd
dvd-ram drive, cd-rw, 3.5" floppy
56.6k modem, 10/100 NIC
19" LCD monitor (my old 17" crt finally died after 10 years of use)
Altec Lansing speakers/subwoofer
Microtek scanner (from 1999)
network printer
CPU-z more detailed techy info. Warning- big image, 1280 pixel by something.

I have that laying around, just in case I needed it again.
I plan to build a new computer, since I now work with more power-demanding tasks that this computer can handle. I’ve been thinking of buying an AMD instead of Intel, since they’re cheaper. Just the GPU I’m buying will be more powerful than my current computer altogether.
