I’m looking for a fun PC game that I can torrent, or just download. And I don’t want it to have sub5cription fees.
My buddy told me EVE was pretty fun, but I dont want to pay the $10 a month, are there private servers for that game?
Either way, whats your favorite game to play on the PC?

counter strike source. fps. it’s like 19$. no sub5cription. it takes a little while to learn but once you have it down it is fun as hell.

I used to play "wolfenstein enemy territories" or something that was free.
Garrys mod 9 is free.

my favorites are battlefield 2 and COD4. i’ve yet to play COD4 online because it’s a cracked version, but BF2 is wellll worth the money. i love that game. sorry, i don’t think you can play BF2 online if it’s pirated.

Yeah I wouldnt be able to run that on my laptop anyway cause Im still looking around for a new gaming desktop.

Gotcha...only problem with PCs (don’t get me wrong, i prefer them 10 fold over consoles) is they get outdated so quickly. I bought my box about 18 months ago for 1250, now it’s worth (if it was brand new) about 750-850.
I definitely suggest a GeForce 7900 when you look at graphics cards. I can run Assasin’s Creed on medium with absolutely smooooooth graphics. it’s a damn good card, and cheaper than the 8 series. I run BF2 on all high and get about 70FPS with both monitors running, and 80-99 with just my main.

Anyone ever playedTHIS?
It’s like Garry’s Mod I guess, but with LEGOs, so you get to build your own props.
Havent downloaded it yet, we should all get in a room and play together.

I suggest you play the 14 day free trial, then you’ll be shtting bricks wanting to pay for it.
plus after about three months (or less if i hook you up) you’ll be able to pay for the sub5cription with ingame cash.
I’m fucking pwnage on eve lmfao

That sounds great. I might have to try that. I remember I tried downloading it a year ago and I didn’t understand it at all. But I’ll try it again, and let you know once I get the hang of things.

Eve is a thinking game. ther eis no way in HELL you’re going to play for a few days and know what you’re doing =P
but it’s fun as shit once you get the hang of even some basic stuff.
I’ve been playing for upwards of a year now, and i JUST found out a few days ago how to set waypoints properly
it’s 100% player driven too. if you buy something, it’s already gone through a miner, an engineer, a scientist, and a cargo hauler (all professions you can choose whenever you want) so it’s truly the ONLY game in existance that has a 100% player driven economy.
personally im a fleet commander with about 50-100 other players under my command which sounds liek a shitload of fun but it’s actually a lot of work haha
some of the funnest times I’ve had on Eve was flying a tier 1 frigate (one of the first ships you’ll buy) and dying constantly while fucking over ships worth millions of times what mine was.
I also have a multi billion ISK (ISK= eve cash) bounty on my head from corporations (the equivalent of guilds) that I’ve gone to war with.
nothing beats the feeling of saying "hey guys, dampen, bubble, tackle and kill THAT guy" and seeing 75 other people all go throw their asses in the line of fire just because i say too =D
also, in about 5 days my training will be done to fly Minmitar (a race in eve) Carriers which are a capital class ship. the one i currently own is worth about 2.3 billion ISK, and is sitting outside a POS my corp commands (POS = player owned station)
that thing is my baby =D
if you were to put a pixel of white next to that in that picture, that’d be the size of the first ship you start off with =D
