We hear it all the time, eggs suck, are boring, repeated, etc. Bitching will solve nothing. I’ve decided I can take action on this.
Incentive #1
5,000 points
Paid out on eggs I like that are posted AFTER this topic, and are listed by the original egg author that contain the following:
A) How-To (building items, repair, innovation, etc)
B) Exploration (Old buildings, remote areas, etc)
C) Useful software modifications, hardware modifications.
(This list may be expanded based on varying interest of me).
Incentive #2
500 points
Paid out on eggs I like that are posted BEFORE this topic, and are listed by the original egg author that contain the previously listed items. The payout is low because I want to see a future in the eggs more than repeat the past.
PLEASE NOTE:
There is no "unfair" shit here, this is an incentive based on my likings and tastes. If you post an egg that I think is shit, or I don’t really care for, don’t act all oppressed if it doesn’t get anything from me.
Listing an Egg
In this topic, anybody may "violate" the egg advertisement rule. This topic is perfectly fine for all member levels to post their egg and let us know what it’s about.

At this point, I plan on doing this for as long as possible. I’d really like to see some good eggs come past. AGAIN, this is my own "system". I won’t be all super favorable in this system, I will be expecting good shit to read, and may on occasion be awarding several thousand more points for exceptional eggs.

This was the point of the group Egg Showcase, it was working fine for the first couple months, but like 99% groups, they just die.

The group is intended to be complementary, and the egg showcase group did nothing but display links to the eggs, whereas I’m donating points for them.

thank you RER, I’ll also match RER’s offer, and pay out a bunch of EP on eggs that i personally think deserve it.
make a fucking nice egg, and i’ll even donate a bunch of points to a group of your choice.
I’ve personally only put out three eggs, but all ahve had scores of 4.5+ with at least a hundred votes, and ALL have been under ’best new eggs’
ther eis NO reason you should have to put out a thousand shit eggs when it’s simple enough to every now and then make something worth reading.

Glad to see other members want to contribute to this system.
In effect, a good egg could earn 15,000 points right off the bat with duct_tape and MaxwellMURDER matching donations. Glad to see other people are interested as well.

These are my submissions out of my 10 or so eggs
With regards to amounts of submissions my opinion is that you should only be allowed to submit 1 egg per category. If your egg is accepted you should be allowed another egg in the specified category. Eventually all of the good old eggs would be chosen and all that would be left would be new eggs
