When i was a kid Hatchet by Gary Paulsen was always my favorite book. I’ve always loved books about survival because they have always revealed much about the human condition and the virility of the human spirit. So i wondered if any1 out there also knows of good survivor books (war survivor stories included).

No offense m8, but there is no need to post two threads in one day or 30 minutes apart.

Watch Bear in the discovery channel. He teaches you how to survive and he doesn’t afraid of anything.

Two threads within one day and two threads within a 30 minute time span isn’t the same. Although there’s no problem with doing either.

They are on different subjects. So it doesn’t really matter.

Man Vs. Wild? That guy is a fake. Watch Survivorman.

As for books, I don’t really know any about survival, but seeing as you are getting ready to live on the road, you might want to check out Evasion and Off the Map.

As for bear. Watch the one of the dessert. They’re "at night" with the suppa cool night vision, and you can see the shadows and the sun. LMAO

I read a book about a homeless man in Hawaii who loved his life. I can’t remember what it was called. I used to have it in my filelocker but it’s gone. If I remember, I’ll tell you. It was a free d/l and a really good read.
