Ok so i have a ipod video or ipod classic. I plugged my ipod in to my computer this morning and left for work. When i got back i clicked itunes but it dosent open. So i went to my computer and it didnt show it pluged in but it has the do not disconnect on the ipod screen. How do i disconnect it and how do i get itunes to open. Thanks for the help.

Pull the plug and reinstall iTunes? Whats the worst that could happen?

Just unplug it. It most likely won’t do any harm.

Look in the taskbar for something with a green arrow on it and right click it. You should find your iPod.

Ok so i unplugged it and now its frozen on do not disconnect. The secound i disconnected itunes opened up with this.
So how do i get my ipod out of the do not disconnect screen?

Reset it with the button combination.

by the way its on hold and it wont turn off hold since its frozen. Whats the button combo and will it still work on hold?

Oh right! i held down menu and main button and it restarted!

Turn on hold, turn off hold press and hold play and the circle button at the same time, or menu and the circle button, I can’t remember.

Nevermind i plugged it back in and its workin fine. Thanks for the help myincrediblycreativename, DamnBastard, T-D-D, and flat tire.
