i run linux, and that beep sounds like a windows beep... when i first started hearing it, i had no idea what it was, and i couldn’t figure out why the fuck my linux machine was making windows sounds... eventually, i figured it out, and now i have adblock, so i ain’t gotta worry about it anymore
