I finally installed Firefox 3 and I must say I’m glad I did. It works even faster than F2 with more extensions/add-ons than I’ve ever had.
There were a few extensions that I used to have that didn’t work, but I found upgrades and sometimes better ones at the Mozilla add on site. As I was searching through them I found other cool extensions that I ended up installing too.
I highly recommend ForecastFox
Got F3?

Yea, I didn’t think I was going to like it because of the suggestions when typing a url, but I have found that I actually don’t mind them too much. Unlike IE and other browsers which suggest sites, Firefox’s actually comes up with what I want to go to. I also lost an extension or two and a theme, but hey, change is good every once in a while.
All in all, Firefox 3 is awesome.

Opera is good, on occasion I’ll use that too, but I really like this new F3.

Seriously reminds me of:
But besides that, I love FF3, all except one thing...How when you click the URI bar, it selects everything, then do it again, and it selects that word, then do it again, and it selects where you’re clicking...That’s a pain in the ass.
And also, the Linux version of it is kindof shitty, because it doesn’t seem to be as configurable (yes, it’s open-source, I know..)

At first my FF3 fucked up and wouldnt work so I had to use Opera for a while, which in my opinion isnt as easy to navigate and lacked features Im really used to.
Then I figured out the problem and FF3 worked. I must say it is better than the old firefox. It is faster, easier, and just does everything a whole lot better.

I love it because I can have 30 tabs open with streaming video and flash etc. and it doesn’t crash.

To everyone who says their addons "arent compatible with FF3": Make sure you have the latest version of your addon.
Some doods in /r9k/ thought adblock wasnt compatible with FF3, turns out they never installed the latest update.

He won’t be able to.
Sure, FF3 has its own falters, but they’re negligible compared to the ones MS has programmed into IE7 (IE...ActiveX)
FF2 did indeed have some issues with Memory Leaks, and that almost pushed me away from Firefox, but Opera has a ton of work to do to catch up to Firefox, and MS...well, they’re on the losing side now. If Microsoft were smart, they’d drop IE for the costs associated with it (I mean shit, it’s free...and they’ll charge the same for their OS regardless), and ship Windows with Firefox.

Microsoft is much too stubborn to do something like that.
