Hey RE, so I’ve got to get a job in the next few days. I’ve had a job before, and im going to be a senior soon. where are YOU working this summer, I need ideas, besides the usual job, which I will unfortunately end up with either way... Also, do you like your job?

Idk about "unique" jobs, but you can always just go to any local businesses and ask if they are hiring. Or you can always do lawn care. Lawn care = better money, but it helps to know some ppl to get started.
Today I mowed a lawn ($35), and at 3 o’clock I have to be to my "real" job. I’m a bagger at Piggly Wiggly ($6 an hour). The pay is shit, but this is basically just spending money (I’ve abandoned my attempts of getting a car).

I suggest trying to be a lifeguard at a small town beach, it might not pay all that well, but it’s fun and you’ll like the sights. Smaller beaches still need a lifeguard, but it isn’t as stressful.

I’ve been trying to get a job for a while now, it’s not that easy to get a first job.
Look for places that just opened or are opening very soon.

Krazy - Unfortunately I’m not confident in my web design skills yet. Even after 3 or so years, I feel like theres still so much I’m missing.
Lefty - the problem is that i would need to be certified and that takes a lot of training and testing. But good suggestion none the less. I guess I’ll just go hand out some more resumes around my area, I guess money is money... Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

I work at burger king.
I work the overnight shift
I make 12.75 an hour (overnight = time and a half here)
nine hour shift every second day,
free food (which consists of just a veggie burger, and some desserts, being a vegitarian and all)
and I literally get paid to sit on my ass and about once an hour make some drunk a whopper.
best. job. ever.
my night manager is PWNAGE, his name is moose (well actually it’s something like Mustafiz or some shit, but no one know how th fuck to say it, so we call him moosey) and we literally sit around smoking and commenting on how big the tits of the drunk chick in the car is.
kick. ass.

I slung grease for many years, as that was the only place I could get hired at age 15. For most of my life, I was an awkward, unpopular dork, but at work, I was king shit! And it was my introduction to alcohol and marijuana at 2:00 a.m. after work.

I wash cars at a Lamborghini dealership.
If I can’t own one, I’ll settle for washing someone else’s.
