Let’s discuss it.
I think he’s done a swell job with moderating. I know if I got harassed by members as often as he did, I would’ve been bant every shit in sight. He’s taken all the bullshit that’s thrown at him daily and sticks around to do an almost okay job at modding. And yes, mods should be above the law to a certain degree, just like the real life mods of the real life RE. If he stops being a whore, he’s fine in my books.

Hes gonna keep on being a mod unless he commits a federal offense on RE. Thats it. All you talked about was the present of his modship and his past.

Well theres no sense in arguing because even if he did commit an offense worthy of being demodded, weasel is never on enough to demod him anyways.
GMT says that he doesnt want to be a "tyrannical mod", but hes giving himself perks and letting the rest of us be fucked over. And he says "most of u wud challinge duh ban if u got same ban as me", but if someone who had any common sense got banned for REPEATED postwhoring, and it says what they got banned for, im sure they wouldnt challenge it or call it unfair since its in the rules.
Theyre just not used to the rule being enforced till they want someone they hate banned for postwhoring.
Face it, postwhoring isnt a bannable offense anymore.
I can just post "lol yeah" or "hahahaha true" or "roflmao so right" in rotation as responses to peoples posts in threads at least 10 times and I wouldnt get banned cause "u kant b& 4 posthoring, site wud die, so sez me evn do I haz no proof!"
Mods and Admins chose quantity over quality, is all.

Fuck, I typed up some shit and Opera froze. I’ll get what I can remember.
GMT doesn’t not post whore as much as you may believe. He has that reputation and that’s what causes most of the trouble. He may do it a couple times here and there, but not as much as E-Sizzler for an example. For as long as I’ve been here GMT has been doing it and he’s gotten away with it for this long so there isn’t no point in trying to stop him now. I may sound hyporcritical or some shit, but his postwhoring hasn’t done shit but give you guys(including me) something to bitch about. You’re making him seem like he’s some cynical ban happy mod, but he’s probably the most leinet one out there.
You guys are just mad at GMT cause he’s GMT, give it a rest because he isn’t going anywhere and your bitching won’t do shit about that fact.

But he’s never been the type of mod to ban anyone for postwhoring or anything that he does. I don’t pay attention to every ban, but I’m sure of this. He’s not that cynical.

I banned him for it, just because he removed it doesn’t mean my ban for him wasn’t genuine.
I think it’s wrong for a moderator to be a "lead postwhore" and not have any sort of altercations attached to that action. I don’t feel right banning people for postwhoring, when a part of "my team" can postwhore at will.

I think he honored that ban. At least, I haven’t seen him post here in a few days. I don’t think mods should ban each other but I also don’t think mods should consistently do things that would earn a ban of regular members either. Perhaps he should take his modship status a bit more seriously. Overall, I think he is a relaxed mod and I like him.
