I don’t really know what exactly to call a program like this. But does anyone know of a program in which I can change the properties (Artist, Type, Album, Titles) of a song all in one interface?
I think someone posted one a long time ago (6 months, OK not that long) but I can’t find it through searching RE. I need to do this to many songs, and really would like to not have to do it song by song. (I already did that, on 3,500 songs, it took me like a month and a half of doing them to complete it.)
I don’t need a download link or anything, if someone just gives me a name, that would be appreciated. I can do my own download finding. Also, it doesn’t have to be freeware, its fine with me if it will cost money, I am willing to pa..[shifty eyes]..find a way, to get it.

This kinda looks like it is meant to work with iTunes, correct? I don’t use iTunes.
But I am going to give the program a try, thanks :] 5* to all your stuff.
Others, continue with suggestions.

Sorry, last post was for the Fix Tunes program.
DCO, I’m currently also trying your program. 5* to all your stuff also. Thanks, yours looks like it might be more of what I’m looking for, a lack of Apple, haha.

Doesn’t Itunes do it all in one interface? All you have to do is select all the songs you want to change. And it also permanently changes the ID3 Tag.

Okay... I don’t see why you quoted yourself.
I was just saying Itunes would be perfect for your needs...
It doesn’t do it all one-by-one, it has the choice to do a group of songs and change their album art, lyrics, almost everything.

Yes, Danno, I actually did think about using it, because to be honest, while I hate the physical iPod, the UI of iTunes is very good. At least I think its ok.
The problem with it for me, is that eventually my music will make it onto my Zune, which of course in Microsoft’s proprietary short sighted-ness, is only able to work with shitty Zune software. And I believe that if I put it through iTunes, it’ll fuck the song up to where it won’t go on the Zune.
Meh, 5 stars to all your stuff anyways, thanks for the help. :]

Actually it doesn’t unless you convert all the files to AAC which is Apples format.
Trust me, it’ll be fine.

AAC is platform-indipendent, and is the successor to the MP3 format. It’s not apple exclusive, and it is a common audio format in video files. The apple proprietary format is m4a (unprotected audio), m4p (protected audio), and m4v (video).

Ah, hell, I might just give it a shot if I can’t get these other ones to work. Right now I’m too tired to bother with any of them.

Gah, I hope not. Ogg Vorbis FTW.
In any case, AAC doesn’t have much compatibility with devices other than iPods (am I wrong on that? I could be. But I just woke up, and I sure as hell don’t feel like checking Wikipedia).

Oh I would never convert it all to AAC, hell no! I thought iTunes might just do it without converting it, but I doubt it.

I believe you are correct. I mean, I know it will work with Zune and a select other few, but I don’t think it has the kind of widespread usage, as mp3 does.
