Something somewhat unique about RottenEggs.
Some members like to make a big deal out of their leaving, others make a big deal when they "return" from some long absence.
I don’t see too much of this on other message boards I’ve been involved with.
Had they not mentioned it, would anyone have noticed? Or really cared?
Is a discussion needed every time a member leaves or returns?
Just wondering.

It depends on the member. I don’t care about people I don’t know, so it really depends on who it is and how well you know them.
No one would miss a nobody.

You made a thread left_hand, asking for his punishment and I thought the majority was deletion or some shit. What’s up with that, I don’t mind him so much, but then again, I’d like to lol at someone getting deleted every now an then.

Nah I left to voided being banned, I made a alt account but I did not feal like ranking it. I got asked by people if they could have this account and spam the shit out of this site. I cheak back on RE everyone once in a while.

Many members seem to think their coming and going will have a major impact on the life of the site. On all the other message boards I’ve been involved with members just post, or don’t post without all the fanfare.
It’s just an interesting dynamic that seems to be unique to RottenEggs.
