I mean, (and I dont wanna toot my own horn just cause I made that list) those candidates that he picked out DO meet the basic requirements:
-Online enough to do the job
-Know the rules and follow them to an extent
-Havent been banned as much
-Doesnt have a reputation as a spammer/troll

I meet ALL of those requirements. I have never been banned. I know the rules. Im online a lot. And i have never spammed or trolled.
Yet i wasnt picked for the votes. And i am a ok level. and not a dumb noob.
I nominate my self as i think i would make a perfect egg mod.

But when running for US president do they get nominated by somone else?.....(Do they? i dunno)
And i said im a ok member level as you wouldnt really have a level 6 as a egg mod would you. so member level does play SOME role here.

Theres a difference between leaving out people who want to run and leaving out other deserving candidates.
People who want to run, hell, that might as well be just about 2/3 of the GD. And it wastes time, cause then you have to sift through the shit to get to the worthy candidates out of that pile.
Worthy candidates, now that takes a bit less time, and is an easier process. Plus, you get a more personal appeal from all the nominees on why they deserve it, you can analyze each nominee on how they lurk and if theyd be an effective egg mod, etc.
Time is of the essence here, since we only have two egg mods working.

I guess you can nominate yourself for egg mod, theres no rule against that, to my knowledge.
US presidents get nominated by a third party.
Yes, but you dont have to be level thirty-something. You can be level 15 or something to be egg mod. Power egg and up, I guess.

Ive been banned a couple times before.
*BUT*.
I didnt know those actions were bannable offenses when I was banned for them (weve all heard me say this before, I know, I know). Viper made up a rule and banned two other people and I for it.
