I followed all the steps up to running the application. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610313
When i try to use the pandora battery to instal the program it dosent work. I stick the pandora battery in and the green light goes on without me turning the psp on. The screen stays black and dosent change. I cant even turn it off without pulling out the battery. How do i finish the last steps? either by fixing the battery or doing it a diffrent way thx.

When you were making the magic memorystick did you get something that said "CHECK Free Reserved Sectors to small reserved sectors" If you did,you have to make it again,and it doesn’t sound right that you can shut it off with the battery inside

You’ve either
A) Haven’t made the magic memory stick correctly.
B)Bricked It.
If you can turn the psp on with a normal battery than its A)
Don’t use that program to create the magic memory stick by the way.
Use the latest version of Psp Grader Lite (version 006)
Version 006 You can download v006 from:
http://www.x-projects.org/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item35
Download the 4.01 Eboot (You probably already got it)
Browse to the Eboot file, Click "Clean Pandora Stick"
Tick the "Format Memory Stick" Option
Then click "Create Pandora Stick"
This should automatically create a pandora stick, then do the same thing, Insert the memory stick then the pandora and make a NAND BACKUP
Save your NAND file to your computer then install CFW :D
It is important to make a NAND backup incase you fuck up your psp beyond repair.. you can then restore the NAND to fix it.

YAY! everyone in this thread gets fives! I used the vid and did it succsesfully. Now the thread is about stuff to get, post any suggested games or apps for it.

get for emulators NesterJ..(nes) snesx somthin I cant remember,if you want a link for iso’s pm me... apps;Pspmaps,Irshell(for the ir remote) Id give you more but i left my psp at my friends house.

Some good homebrew apps for the PSP are PSPTUBE (watch youtube on psp), Snes9xTYL(snes emulator) , Gpsp (GBA emualator) and Chilly Willy’s Doom (self explanatory).
All the emulators run at full speed. Everything can easily be found on google or pspupdates.qj.net. Good games depends on what you like to play.

if you like cheating then cw cheat is sweet but it is kind of complicated to install just follow this tut and you should be good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjzAqIycZck
I am like 80% sure that this will work with 4.05m33 but it might not
