Ok some of you wanted pictures so here is some I took like last week or so.
I haven’t been able to catch her on camera eating something yet but when I do I’ll upload a video.

Yeah, I haven’t picked it up yet though. Soon.
After seeing her fangs with a venom drop hanging off, I’ve been slightly full of bitchassness.

On a side note that was the first mouse I fed her. I didn’t see her kill it but when I woke up the next morning she was eating it. Must have got it during the night.

I dont think venom is ever removed. Possibly a rumor. No I didn’t say it. The venom isn’t harmful to humans. It still creeps me out though haha.

it dosent hurt too bad when they bite,you need a pic of it on your hand so we can tell how big it is.
mine is getting ready to molt again

From what I hear, it’s the same as, or less than a bee sting... And unless you’re allergic to it, the venom should have no affect whatsoever... Amirite, Tecno?

Yes haha but since Im only here until I go away to work again, and I pay rent she didn’t say much.

Do you have any particular methods of picking it up to a noobie? I watched videos on how to do it. Placing your hand flat in front of it and touching its back legs so it climbs on your hand,

That is pretty neat, I wish I had one actually, but my mother would never let me :-P
Just out of curiosity...I figured someone who gets a tarantula as a pet would have no fear of it. I would go ahead and pick it up, give it a try, I’ve heard that as long as you are gentle with them, then they are quite docile.
