I just received a phone call, of course it was one of those credit card scammers calling. I picked up the phone and a robotic voice said "There is urgent information pending on your credit card account, please enter your social insurance number on the keypad after the tone..." Do they really expect people to fall for this?

It seems like laziness but just think:
If just one person out of every couple thousand is stupid enough to enter it then the scammer is that much richer for hardly any work.

Also, people will assume that a computer/robot won’t lie to them and that they’re official or some shit. It’s not a bad idea actually.
