I use FF but my dad either uses IE or Safari, but then again he barely uses his PC, i read about this in school yesterday.

Wow... First I heard of it. Everyone at my wife’s work use IE. I just called her and told her to use FF, until they get the update.
If anyone here uses IE, the update will be available now, I think...
All the sites I saw said 10:00am PST. (1900 CET). According to RE time, it is after 10:00.
If you can’t update for some reason, I’d follow the guide in this blog to safeguard against the issue.

ie is used mainly for its compatability. my school uses it for all on campus pcs. they sent out a notice to all students about it yesterday.

Funny, if you go to the Microsoft website or the IE download page, they don’t mention it at all. You actually have to dig for it on their site.

I use Firefox, I used to use IE until I found 15 sitting viruses. And never had I downloaded anything.
(this was when my dad got his new computer, He told me not to download anything until avast was set up)
I had uploaded avast the next day, Deleted the viruses, And switched to Firefox. I hate you IE!
