I did a clone in the past, but wanted to venture into my own thing instead of being a shadow site. But if there is no site to shadow, then shazam. I’d do it.

shit, I forgot about the sticker lol.
though a pic of it MAY be slightly hard to get, as it’s on my door at my moms house, and I pretty much got myself kicked out of that side of my family about a week ago.
but knowing my mom, she’ll give up caring in a few days, and i’ll be aloud back at that house soon enough, pictures imminent.

I’d bet that if you were to transfer over peoples member levels and points to your own site, a lot of them would go. But that wouldn’t reflect anything they had put into your site, so it might be unfair to some people. Also, people would probably not like to lose their post count.
Last time this subject came up I made a RottenEggs Fire Assembly Point (REFAP), which was just some shitty free forum that people should sign up to so they had somewhere to congregate if one day RE does down and never comes back online. I’ve reformatted since and don’t remember the address, I could probably find it but only like 3 people actually joined so it was totally pointless. Not to mention the fact that posting the link would be against the rules!
I think that if the site goes down, I have enough peoples msn, and they have enough other peoples msn, that the majority of us would still be able to find out where the place to go would be. Or everyone will just go to YN.

It wouldn’t be as amusing with an active sysop, have the sysop account "Weasle" then have your account "Toasty" (Toasty has all powers as admin)
And only use Weasle to update ever so often so we can still have fun making fun of a non-active SysOp :D

Rotteneggs is like addiction to heroin. It feels good the first few times, but after you don’t use it you desire more to the point where you damage your body for it. But once you get it, you feel much better.
