I’m making my own thread to give my response because I don’t feel the need to address the hands directly for anything. I don’t respect them. Why should I respect them? They haven’t done anything to deserve respect here from anybody, they are fucking newbies. They came to RE completely out of nowhere, nobody knows who they are, they haven’t done anything to earn their admin status, they don’t fit in with the members here, most of us don’t like how they mod, and I generally just don’t like either of them.
I’ll only make one response and I’ll make it quick.

I can’t see any valid reason for banning/deleting someone and not having to tell anyone or the person who was banned why, isn’t that what the ban and warning thread is for.
You bitches are just scared of Keiser so you demote the other admins.

being active, good contribution and respect from other members is what makes you a senior member.
Post count, member level and admin/moderator positions don’t mean shit to me, especially when you didn’t have to work your way up to administration.
In my eyes the hands just took the easy way to power and rather than earn the respect of RE to maintain their position, just eliminated any threat in their way and continue to do so with the undocumented deletion of various members.

ChaosMaestro, All the bans I’ve done in the last month have been for one day or less. Less being as I’d usually undo the ban after the member saw the reason message. The log doesn’t go back any further than that. Why would I post a ban of such short duration?
You all make it sound like members are being banned for 90 days by the_hands every five minutes for minor things. That is not the case.

it’s things liek handing out a ban, then a few days later, deciding to DELETE the member. THATS the thing that pisses people off.
I agree with keiser, I’ve been here for years, other members have been here for many MORE years. Respect on rotteneggs is earned through contributing to the site. What have the _Hands contributed?

I may as well put in my 2 cents, I have sat idol long enough.
Left_hand has been here for a while I believe, He has posted some thread’s back in the day with official site business in them. Left hand was one of weasel’s friends and stayed on the site to monitor it in a "members eyes" view I believe.
Member’s long ago were rewarded with "power egg" for making good post’s and egg’s.
Left hand was one of them being that he was favored as one of weasel’s friends.
Right hand, I don’t know where the fuck he came from.
I think Right_Hand has no place on this site.....I would think you would all agree.
This is just like that time Roe cam back and was made forum mod or something at level 3......this is just a bigger case.
Right_Hand, The members of rotten eggs demands to know who you are and where you came from.
What are you going to do?
Delete everyone? then who will you admin, wtf is the point if you delete everyone? WTF is the point if nobody likes you? What kind of kick do you get out of making bullshit excuses about bans and other reason’s.
Why don’t you answer those questions?

Lefty is the same account as left_hand, the account’s name was changed.
Who here remembers that his avatar was Jeffery from virtual fighter? You can see that right hand has not been a member that long, and that left_hand has been around since the site started pretty much.

I was pointing out that originally Left_Hand was a test account that weasel used.

Where’s the list of members that were deleted? I know teh_1337 and Slim were deleted, but they were permabanned before. Permabanned. That means forever in my book. They were deemed a threat to RottenEggs and it’s members, and they are admitted spammers. They have been pretty cool lately from what I had seen, but I haven’t been reading every post. I am not on as much lately. I was surprised when they were allowed to initially make new accounts. But that doesn’t change the fact that when you are permabanned, making a new account is against the rules.
As far as the rules go, the_Hands did nothing wrong IMO.
So, who else was deltree’d?

Teh_1337 and Therealslim, may of been banned before, but at the moment this site is suffering from a serious lack of interesting posts and user activity. Then Slim and Teh_1337 came back and contributed to the site. If they were banned because of breaking the rules in the past they should of been deleted when they first made their new accounts, not when they have aggravated an admin. They were decent enough members when they came back, and contributed to the site so their deletion has helped nobody, whether they were deleted wrongfully or not.

1337 and Slim LIKE this place, regardless of their past actions. It was wrong and unfair to have them banned, and even more unfair to have them deleted.
Not only did they not break any rules (they were banned as a result of the _hands unfair spite) 1337 was deleted even though he was banned and hadn’t even logged in for the past day!
If that seems fair to you, then id like to hear a reason.

Personally, if I were in teh_1337 or Slim’s shoes, and I really wanted to be a contributing member, I would have thanked the_hands and the other Admins for not deleting me as soon as my identity was known. Then, I would have tread very lightly, and not taken my second chance for granted.
There were comments on teh_1337’s Eggs from the_Hands commending his positive change. Then, over the next week or so, teh_1337 started butting heads with the_Hands. If you’re account is on borrowed time, you don’t butt heads unless you want to stir a bunch of shit.
I’m not sure why Slim was deleted. I have to do some digging. I am going to go read as many topics pertaining to this issue as I can. I really feel I missed something.
Again, who else was deleted?

In my opinion this whole thing is being blown waaay out of proportion. They were permabanned, given a second (or third) chance, and it didn’t work out. Really, nothing out of the ordinary happened, other than them getting another chance. Just my humble opinion, though. I dunno.
I just hope my opinions don’t wind up making all of you dislike me. I apparently just see things differently than most of you.

must be nice to be able to say something like that and not drown in the rain of hate. what gets me is that msot of the people upset they are gone never liked them when they were here
personally I could have cared if they were here or not....their opinions of me meant absolutely jackshit. I enjoyed arguing with them when they were on a roll, but i never got all butthurt over anything they said. They were living on borrowed time and acted like assholes
