Felt the need to say I agree 110% on what was said, but the profanities were not needed, could have gotten the point across without them.
But, as said, They fight for our rights, they deserve more respect then most others ever will.
No, I’m not in the military, and i’m not a Uncle Sam ultra-worshiper, But thats my opinion.

not at all. I suport the military and I do thank them for the things they do, but they are volunteers that chose to do those things...
plenty of people in this world deserve respect

I don’t disrespect them or respect them anymore than anybody else. It is really just a second chance job for most of the people in it. People who get out of jail, barely pass highschool, or have a fucked up life mostly. Sure there are exceptions, but the majority boils down to those previously stated.

Closest I come is from a military family. I have already thanked random soldiers.
On one hand, they’re over there dying to protect us. On the other hand, if the US would mind its own fucking business, we wouldn’t be in a war because the world trade center would have never happened. We worry less about our own country and more about everyone else’s business, and the military picks up the pieces.

I believe this statement partially holds true. But in the sense that, everyone there needs respect and that respect can be pertained in different ways.
Like, there is a different respect you give to a doctor then you give to a person in the military.
But, none the less, everyone who saves lives, helps people, etc. deserves a certain kind of respect.

im not at any government armforce but lots of my friends but i can go with them in raid and operations i like shooting people.we have a group its not a gang or mafia or whatsoever but its like a peoples army but we are not a rebels.

I never stated that nobody else did. All I stated was ’most’. ’Most’ of us wont be doctors or politicians or single mothers. All of those listed deserve respect, but keep in mind this is an armed forces discussion thread, and I threw in ’most’ so that people wouldn’t accuse me of that, but whatever, don’t read the context if you dont feel the need to.

Besides, in the current state of our country, anybody signing up to protect their fellow man is misinformed. At present the armed forces and those within only serve to protect the interests of the corporations and Washington, it has nothing to do with freedom anymore.
They already take my money, I’m not gonna die for em.
