Ok, Im a bit edgy right now so excuse any spelling or grammar errors.
This morning, Im still asleep, its about 8 am, my mom lets the dogs out, and leaves the door open so they can get in and out. She goes back to bed for a bit, and some fucker comes in and cuts her chest and stomach up. I wake up to find her on the ground crying and bleeding on the phone with 911.
Shes back from the hospital now, and shes still really shaken up.
I want this fucker dead.
What should I do RE?

Forgot to add, I dont know who it is, just that he has a blue star tattoo on his arm. I didnt get to see him, he ran before I woke up, after stealing all my moms medication.

No, they didnt catch him, he wore gloves and all that so no dna.

They have a de5cription, and he’s a junkie. They will catch him. It is only a matter of time.
If you were to try to get revenge, you would only wind up getting in trouble. That’s the last thing your mother needs right now.
My suggestion:
Go be with your mom. She needs your support. Let the police and the system deal with the junkie.

Time to call in the kin folks and friends.
Get some of them to stay at your home if you need to
go off anywhere and help take care of your mom.
Hopefully the fucker will come back and get a can
of whoop ass opened up on him. You can turn over
whats left to the cops.

Theres no one i can call in, its just me and my mom. My brother and Dad are here sometimes during the day, but at night/morning its just me and her.
Im kind of hoping he comes back, shoot him with my c02 pellet gun, so I maim, not kill him. Then beat him with a hammer.

In your profile it says you live in Illinois. Therefore it is legal for you to keep a weapon for self-defense in your home, unless you or anyone else who lives there is a convicted felon. I’m assuming that you are not a felon, so you may wish to obtain a firearm and learn how to use it. If you can’t get one yourself, see if you can talk your mom into it. You ARE justified in using deadly force against someone who breaks into your home--that doesn’t mean you can hunt him down and kill him, but that if he comes back and he’s in your home, or making an effort to break into your home, you can legally shoot him.
If you are really anti-gun or can’t get a gun, then pepper spray is the next best solution. If you hit someone squarely in the face/eyes/mouth with pepper spray, it will incapacitate him, and he won’t be able to see well enough to escape. Once he’s down, if you feel like doing anything else to him *wink, wink*--remember, as long as he’s in your house, he’s fair game. (NOTE: Do stop short of kicking him to death, however. Just make sure he’s incapacitated, and then call the police.)
If the cops are involved, be as helpful as you can. Get the name and contact info for the detective assigned to the case and call them once a day to check on their progress. It will make things a lot easier if you establish a rapport with the cops so that they can see you are not a scumbag, and they’ll be more motivated to help you.
I feel badly for you, but you have to realize that if you go after this guy yourself, and you do something to him, then YOU will end up in jail. (I posted something about "getting even" on this very forum just yesterday, in fact.)
Make sure that your house is secure. If you need money to fix the doors or windows and don’t have any--again, talking to the detectives assigned to the case is a good idea. Tell them you are afraid the guy is going to return and that you need to secure the house, but you don’t know where to turn. They can help you out with some resources so that you can fix doors and windows, to keep people from getting in in the future. It DOES sound as though this guy just walked in off the street, from what you are telling us.
I mean, yeah: Cops are a lot of the time very clueless and they can be real jerks, but they’re better than nothing! they have the equipment, the time, and legal immunity from prosecution to go after criminals. USE THEM.
DON’T go after this guy yourself. If you see him, watch him from a safe distance and try to see where he goes. If he’s a junky, he could be desperate enough to kill you. You definitely don’t want to go there.
Don’t give up. It might take them awhile but I bet they will catch him. A friend of mine’s half-sister was murdered in Denver almost 10 years ago by some guy who just walked into her apartment and shot her so he could take her pre5cription medications. It seemed like they would never catch the guy, but they DID catch him and prosecuted him recently.
Let me know if you have any questions, and I’ll help you out if I can. DO get some pepper spray--it’s legal and cheap. It’s really one of the best defenses you can have--it works 100% of the time if you can get it into your target’s face, especially the eyes. I carry my pepper spray, or have it next to my hand, 24/7. It has gotten me out of numerous predicaments.

Unless you waited for him to break in again. A pellet gun is fine, it’ll startle him, but then get that hammer in there quick, and go for the head or spine.
Thing is, I don’t know if you can brutally murder someone who broke into your house with a hammer. I know it’s legal with a gun, but you can never be too sure.
Please stop that.

If he was there a few days ago and tried to get in, qhy didn’t you do something then? And if you knew there was a guy around doing shit like that, why would your mother leave the door open?

He is more than likely in the police system and they will have a de5cription of him including his tatts(they deatail everything)
So I would geuss he would be getting caught.

IF you don’t have pepper spray, wasp killing spray like Raid works just as well, if not better.
Spray him in the face, baseball bat to the kneecaps, and a kick to the groin.
