I guess I just wanna say hello, because i dont come on this site that much any more but I am just wondering how everyone is doing? How ya’ll been? Can you respond and tell me exactly how your summer has been and how they are. Just every one remember that someone out there, somewhere, cares.

My summer ends in a week. It’s actually been pretty depressing. All I did was hang around with my friends, and together, we do absolutely nothing. That, and I sat around on my computer a lot, getting back into Rotteneggs and playing some CSS. I got up late in the afternoon every day, which I hate. I’ve actually been getting up later than usual in the past week or so. A few days ago, I woke up at 6pm after going to sleep at 5 in the morning. Yesterday, I got up at 5pm after going to sleep at 6 in the morning. I somehow forced myself to go to the gym everyday too.
I didn’t even try to get a job.. I seriously can’t see myself trying in the future either, which is sad, because I’m going to be a senior.
I went to Mayhem Fest, which was the best part of my summer. So far, it was the craziest day or my life, and I actually mean that.
So that was pretty much my summer - Boring and sad.

I’ve been pretty depressed and just kind of wasted my summer. Like BlackHawk, I’m about to be a senior and still don’t have a job. I meant to get my driving stuff taken care of but I still haven’t.
I’ve spent a lot of time on the computer and watching television/movies. I went to a couple concerts which were fun but that’s about it.

just got all moved into my new place. about a block from campus. got promoted to ast .manager after a month and a half of working as an usher in a local theater. feels good man. school starts up again on the 24th.

I’ve been depressed all summer and wondering what could have been with a girl I know. All I’ve done is download movies, games and TV and been watching them all summer, going to bed at 4 or 5 and waking up at 1 or 2 and I think that’s why I developed insomnia. Been browsing the internet most of the time I’m not doing anything else. I’ve been really anti-social with the real world outside my family, but if I get a text, call or IM I’ll answer it with some reluctance.
I have about 3 weeks of Summer break left until I start Sophomore year, and the last week of Summer I’m going to a local island for a week with the family. After I get back, I start school the next day. I know seeing all my friends will be cool, but I don’t know if they’ll still like me more or less because I never really saw them any. The girl aforementioned isn’t sitting with us at lunch anymore and makes me sad and pissed at the same time. She’s being incredibly selfish. While I deal with my friends, I still have to go to class which I’m dreading.
See, ever since November I decided to fuck school and not care anymore. I wore hoodies to school and slept in class. I actually got by with decent grades. Since I still do not know what to do with my life and enjoying more and more, frankly not doing anything at all. I don’t intend to enjoy any of the classes I chose, and wish to switch into computer and art classes if I can, if my parents aren’t bitches about it.
So, a good and a bad summer. Good that I didn’t really have to do anything for the most part which I love, but the bad is what I explained in the last paragraph.

I havent been doing much this summer, just playing poker with my friends, going on RE, playing Call of Duty 5, and blowing up stuff. I have to go back in three weeks- first day in high school. Am now sitting next to my brother (whom I havent seen in eight months- he’s in colledge) watching Shark Week. Did try pot though. That was one of the high points of the summer.

One thing that happened to me this summer (that I can discuss in public) was that I WENT ON A DATE.
I mean, like a real date. For the first time ever. (My definition of a "real date" means going somewhere to do something fun with a guy I haven’t already shagged. Never done that before, like ever.)
I was sitting around all bummed out because of some crappy personal stuff involving a "nice" young man that I had just booted from my residence and a lot of bills that had piled up during his several-month stay at my place and started going on Craigslist. (I can hear you laughing. I DON’T CARE.) I have never posted a personal on CL but I do sometimes enjoy reading them, especially when I’m in a bad mood. It always makes me feel better not just to know that there are people who are more miserable than I am, but to see HOW MANY people there are whose lives suck so much worse than mine.
So that sort of helped. I messaged a few guys that had ads up and talked to a few but nothing happened (except that I did find a really good place to buy decent weed, though it was kinda far from my house). There was this one kid though who actually seemed kinda cool, said he was just into meeting different people and blah blah, and he had some pics that were interesting--not just the usual "giant pierced cock" photo. So I messaged him and we talked, and we ended up going on a date.
That was pretty cool. He’s a 20-year-old guy who is fairly deeply into hippie/anarchist culture and he was taking a year off from college. I guess he’s an engineering major--he’s super smart. We hit it off and had a great time. We didn’t do much but wander around and then had something to eat and smoked pot. I had some heroin and offered him some (just trying to be polite, right?) and it sort of scared him, or so it seemed. So after he left I was like, "Damn, why did I do that? I must be a lot worse off than I thought!" But it wasn’t that big of a deal on the other hand. I was just kind of amazed that I had actually gone on a date for the first time in my life.
But he didn’t hold this social gaffe against me, I guess, and we talked a bunch more times. He called me a few days ago because he’s heading back to where he lives to resume college--he lost his job that he had out here and got evicted from his place, so he decided to go home early. So now there’s another city where I know somebody that I didn’t know anybody before, so if I’m roading through there I’ll have a place to stay.
Also a longtime friend of mine and I recently started a business.
Also--now that I think of it--I was really sick for almost a month. I thought I was gonna die! I haven’t been sick at all with anything except a hangover for like 10 years, but I had been riding my motorcycle into Denver every day to meet up with some friends to do magic for like a week and it was raining the entire time. I got the flu or some fucking thing and FUCK it was hard core. (Obviously I survived.)
I suppose that was a sort of valuable experience in a way, because I had pretty much forgot what it was like to be sick.
Summer’s not over yet, either. I’m going to get some rats from some friends of mine who are having another baby and can’t have the rats around the house anymore. Also I got a swimming pool--just a little kid pool but I totally love it. There have been some extremely awesome storms through here, too. (I like storms, even though I live in a shitty old trailer so if a really bad one came through here it would pretty much stomp me into the ground.)

My summer has been a daze thats for sure, i started with an amazing, truly inspiring trip to South Africa, where i saw the most amazing country ive ever been to. That place is truly incredible! Then i came home and chilled for a week and then went to the shore in New Jersey with my 5 good friends and partied all week, now im in North Carolina (the outer banks) with my good friend and we’ve been partying all week, then next week im going to some BOMB ass resort in the Grand Caymans with my family! Its been a crazy summer and im gunna cap it off with a blink-182 concert and tripping on acid for the first time. Also i went to dorney park on shrooms, visited some colleges, and chilled in vermont. I have been so busy i havent even logged on to RE for a while now.
Its kind of sad to see some of the members have had shitty summers, get out there and do something! Travel to a place you want to go or if you dont have the money, explore parts of your town that you probably havent seen before. Anyway glad to see some of you had a good summer!

I spent my summer spending money that wasn’t mine and hanging out with my girlfriend on a daily basis. Pretty good summer.
