..Isn’t Rotteneggs.
WE’RE Rotteneggs. Every single one of us. Rotteneggs may be the site itself, but we complete it, and make it what it truly is. We can make it a site full of homos, or a site full of assholes. From what I see, we’ve got a bit of both, and many others.
We may not control it, but this is OUR site!
OUR SITE! And only one man can take it away from us.
Together, WE ARE ROTTENEGGS!
Now discuss.

It’s always nice to think that a fairly tight group on the internet could actually be a tight group IRL as well.
However, when I talk to people I know online, it really does seem that most online relationships don’t carry over into real life very well.
So far I’m still batting 100% with meeting online friends IRL and having things go fairly well with it--meaning that the person will be who they said they are, that we will be able to talk and hang out, etc., have a good time without things getting really weird, and plan to meet again. Most of the time the second meeting doesn’t happen for various reasons, but sometimes it does.
But from what people tell me, that’s really unusual, and it’s kinda sad in a way. Most of the time when online friends meet in real life things are weird and uncomfortable (like that episode of South Park where Stan’s sister Shelley meets her online "boyfriend" at the internet migrants camp).
Usually that sort of "team spirit" feeling exists only with online friends who can’t socialize much in real life for whatever reason--they’ll either be people who are really young and can’t drive, or disabled people who don’t have jobs, or shut-ins who can’t deal with real life at all. (Or people who are totally fronting with their online character and who can’t risk exposure, of course!) ;)
xoxoxo
(Er... who are you talking about, anyway..?)

And he’d forget we even existed if it wasn’t for the few dollars he gets monthly from this site.
I don’t know wether I hate him or love him...

I’ve met a few people off RE, I mean why not? J0hnnysick0, did heaps of UE’s with him. Made quite good friends with him and meet some of his friends, rarely see him but he’s a nice chap. He gave me $200 to buy him some.. plants, the plants nor money got back to him. D:
Fireless off RE, me and my friend met him. Long story shot, he was a bit of a tool. I felt bad, but i was like "Fuck, this guy is a faggot, why did we meet this guy? He’s cool online, but fuck"
My friends ended up stealing all his shit, iPod, money, fireworks. I feel bad for him but meh.
Made friends with a few people who aren’t hardcore active though. None at this current point in time whom I see.

The few people I have met IRL after a short contact online have all been startled to learn that there is not much difference between my online personality and real life nature. It confuses them.
Those who I have known for some time and begin communicating with me online do no seem to have any problems. In fact, some have commented that, in a written context, they can appreciate what I have to say easier.
I find these two contrasting points of view odd.

I have only spoken to one member via telephone from this site and had a very pleasant conversation with them.
I plan on flying out to meet another one soon.
If I could I would really enjoy seeing everyone of you.

^^^ That’s me he’s talking about. :D
We talked on the phone the other night for like an hour, I think. It was fun. He’s a good old Southern boy so he’s my homey.
And I was not talking about anybody in particular when I said the thing about "risking exposure". The internet is full of people who are not what they say they are. I mean, that’s what the internet is FOR, innit?

Does that mean "hurt you in a good way" or "hurt you in a hurting and unpleasant way"...? >.
