Im looking forward to turning 21 so I can drink with my parents. .. at least once. I just think it would be an interesting experience. I would love to smoke them sometime too, but that would be taking it to a whole other level. I;ll see how the drinking session goes and then contemplate the brownies option.

It depends on a lot of things.
Would anyone else be around?
Has she ever been high before?
Will she know it was you (thereby getting you in trouble)?
This seems like one of those things where if you have to ask it probably isn’t a good idea.

If you sneak it on her and she gets sick to her stomach or something... yeah I could see problems down the road. Like what if she got super paranoid and insisted on going to the hospital or something?
The others are right, you aren’t giving enough details. If she has never been high before, and/or has some sort of super conservative viewpoint about it, you probably shouldn’t do it.
Stuff like this always looks funny when you see it on TV or in a movie, but real life usually plays out differently. Instead of getting all silly and giggling a lot, your mom could lock herself in the attic and start screaming out the window at the neighbors or something. That could get bad.
If you decide to do it, though: Get some pictures! :D

paranoia from being high (for me) is just being paranoid of the caps showing. But, all the weed brownies i have made (or even eaten) have noticeably tasted like weed. Probably a bad idea. Also, it will smell wherever you make them.

Ok, lets logically reason this out.
Scenario 1:
She agrees to consume weed which you, her son, provided:
That is inappropriate and weird for a parent to do. Therefore, it wouldn’t be good to go there. It would just be weird.
Scenario 2:
She does not agree to consume the weed.
1. You are an untrustworthy little bastard
2. You are wasting your weed. Don’t you have lots of other pothead friends that would really enjoy smoking with you and think you’re cool for getting them high? Why waste it on your mom? Do you think she’s going to go, "oh wow! This feels great! I’m now going to get the parental stick out of my butt. Weew heew!" Dream on tampon. No offense.
Smoking weed with your mom is very very gay. It either means you are socially retarded or sociopathic. It is along the lines of doing crack, heroin, cocaine, meth, et al with your mom. It’s probably even close to cuddling your mom in bed. Ewwwwww.

I think I’m going to play it out with scenarios, like what Gimp did.
Scenario 1: Your mom wants to eat noms with you.
As long as she’s open with it, and wants to I don’t see a problem. If she liked it, she will be more open to your beliefs, but if she didn’t it might be a little awkward and wonder why you smoke it.
Scenario 2: She is unaware she is eating noms.
You’re being an asshole making her do something she didn’t consent to. She will never trust you again.
Scenario 3: You ask, but she says no to eating noms with you.
Don’t even try to sneak her any, it will play out like scenario 2.
