Last week I went to the local Post Office to mail Coopz his prize. Let me tell you, they gave me the third degree.
1. I had to tell them what was in the package
2. They had to verify it wasn’t forbidden to the country I was mailing it to (sausages were on the list of forbidden items to Scotland - perhaps they threaten the haggis industry)
3. They had to make sure there wasn’t an export tax
4. I had to show ID.
5. I had to fill out a customs form

This gives me an idea kinda random but someone should get a T-shirt and stencil the RE logo on the chest then sign thers name and mail it to each member and after all active/meaning full members have signed it have a contest to give it to one of the members

I should make a competition similar to yours Gimp, but rather than reward a pack of cigarettes, I’ll send out acid tabs. It’ll probably ruin the acid though.

I have to find some good prizes. Right now I just have some stickers from a local head shop that I acquired (no I don’t smoke pot). I have a bunch of stuff in storage: including some cue cat scanners from Rat shack. I’ll give a looksee around this weekend.
Maybe someone else would like to offer a contest for some stupid prize. The shipping on the cigarettes was only $2.48 from Colorado to Scotland so that part wasn’t bad.
I like the t-shirt idea. I won’t give out my address tho.

Gimp you can set up a PO box or sometihng at your local post office so you dont have to tell people your address.
I wouldnt tell anyone on here my address either lol.

Coopz will probably never get them because our Mail people suck donkey dick.They are on strike this Thursday and Friday and any other day they feel like wanting more money.

Oops, lol, I forgot to comment on the actual thread!
Sorry you had such bother at the post office trying to send me my prize!
I’m glad they aren’t illegal here, I remember someone in the contest thread saying they had recently been illegalised in their home state. I didn’t know if they were legal here or not as I hadn’t heard of them before the contest, but I didn’t think they’d bother checking with a small non-suspicous parcel. (Ok, that souds stupid as small parcels are more likely to contain illegal drugs or something, but I thought they’d just take the parcel and run it past some sniffer dogs on its way to the plane.)
The T-shirt idea is kinda cool, tho I’d never wear it. What about a poster or something?

Sometimes I ask the Postal drone if my picture is still hanging on the wall. He or she usually grunts and tells me the total for my purchases, without so much as changing facial expression.
