Officially, Scotland doesn’t have a national anthem. But we have adopted Flower of Scotland, which is a good song.
What pisses me off the the british national anthem: God save the queen. I don’t know it, but I do know that in the origonal version there was a bit that went: "Rebellious Scots to crush,
God save the King."
And now that’s technically our national anthem? Fuck that. Also, I hate the fucking queen. The whole royal family is a joke, apart from Prince Harry, who got caught smoking pot, and caused uproar when he dressed up as a nazi for a fancy dress party. He seems like he has a decent sence of humor. Both him and his brother are bikers, which gains respect points from be, but prince William seems to have a bit of a stick up his ass.

We have the same problem here in the Southern States
of America. Our National anthem is "Dixie".
Only the native born Southerners know it and sing it.
All the other people here are from up north or
mexico.

Being at a sports event where the national anthem is played/sung is always a great opportunity for me to scare people with my LOUD SINGING.
I love to sing and my voice is very loud. Usually by the time they get around to the nat. anthem I have a couple of "Mike’s Hard Lemonades" in me, which only improves the situation.
The last time was when I was at a hockey game with my dad. My dad was mortified and a little kid near us started crying.
Good times! :D

TSSB has a lot of high notes and stuff in it that make it hard for the average tone-deaf person to sing. (And why I love singing it at top volume so very much.)
"Dixie" is an awesome song, but doesn’t represent the Union very well, lol. *puffs corncob pipe, drinks from jug of XXX and nods wisely*
