hows it folks,
its been a little while haha.
well, what I need help with is getting music on my phone.
I’ve got it synced to a computer at my dads house,
but now that I’ve got a comupter here at my apartment (and ACTUAL internet. no more 3G bullshit.)
I got a bunch more music, and some movies, that I want to put on it.
problem is that it says it cant unless I sync it to this comp. which results in the loss of ALL my stuf on there already.
any solution to this?
I was looking around already and found something about "manually manage music" or some shit, but the option it was telling me to click in itunes didn’t exist there.
help?

Can you use this mac program (free) to copy all your current stuff to the computer, then sync it all back with the new stuff?

To sync it to another computer, you need to reformat it...no other way around it.

But you can copy the songs from it before doing so.
Also, I found a guide on making it sync to multiple computers...

fuck, Thanks Dodge, but I cant do that one.
It WOULD work, but I have no net on my phone at the moment (4 months of no work = unpayed bills)
and the other way you mentioned will work for songs, but I lose everything else on the phone.

once I pay my bills your second way WILL work.
theres also a program I know of called SharePod that essentially turns your iPod into a removable hard drive. but Im not sure if it works with an iPhone...

just plugged in my iTouch to check, but the battery is dead so its taking a minute to charge enough to connect to itunes. But while trying to pass the time I found this picture which shows you exactly where the option is - Click here.
You have to plug the iPod in, then select your iPod from the Devices on the left menu bar. Then tick the highlighted ticky box.
And if you’re thinking that it will start syncing before you can do that, don’t forget that you can cancel the sync by sliding the slider on your phone.
