I’m thinking about downloading thisalbum and I’m not sure if this site has any viruses. I was hoping that there are any computer wizzes on this site who are willing to find out somewhere if it has a good saftey rating. Please message me if you find out.

download it, if any of the file types are .exe or .bat or something then dont run it.
But if they are all mp3 or whatever music format it is then its fine.

Download it on a public computer, like school, the library, whatever, and save it on a flash drive. Then install it on someone else’s crappy computer and see if it gets a virus. If it all checks out, you’re good to go!

My way is better, download it, open the folder. if it contains exe’s and shit delete it.
Much easier and simpler.

I have got a much better idea. Since I have Linux and thus cannot get viruses, I would be willing to download it and upload it on www.virustotal.com to see if it is infected.

anyone can do that, even he can do that, seeing as downloading it wotn infect you just opening it will if there is a virus.
And even if there is a virus, virus total may not pick it up if it is FUD.
Seriously the BEST way to do it. is to open the FOLDER and see if there is a fucking exe or bat file
If there isnt then its clean.

You ever heard of executable .txt files? Or viruses compressed into file extensions like .jpg or .mpg? Or autorun programs? Rare, but not unheard of.
