American Halloween is the best Halloween.
But I’m really biased since I have no idea what other countries traditionally do for it. I think El Dia De Los Muertos in Mexico is a close second for a Halloween tradition.

How about the Countries that this celebration came from?
I would think those would be the best.

PL, I think the Day of the Dead is more of a traditional day for remembering the dead, not dressing up and such.

Halloween in Cali has got to be wild. Monster Massive is tonight. You should try to get in. I would kill someone (gently) to get in.

Halloween has pretty much become close to the American traditions now even though it started over here in the UK,I think. So nobody really celebrates how it used to be over here.(Atleast not where I live)

I know, but still a tradition around Halloween nonetheless.

Sorry Shai but Ireland isn’t the only celtic country.
Quote: The holiday’s origins date back to "the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain." Roughly 2,000 years ago, a people known as the Celts lived in the area now divided among three modern-day countries: the United Kingdom, Northern France, and Ireland. The Celts began their new year on November 1, meaning October 31 was their New Year’s Eve. According the History Channel, "the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead became blurred" that night.

I imagine the UKs and the USAs celebrations to be pretty similar. Kids dress up and go out and get free candy, supermarkets refuse to sell eggs or toilet roll to teenagers, and young adults have house parties or go out to the pub to get drunk, sometimes dressing up. The party I was at last night varied in effort- most guys wore jeans and a t-shirt, and one or two had a mask or a wig. We also had a death-row-inmate, a penguin, and a God. I wore a t-shirt with the batman logo, and stole a wig for a while. One chick wore a bin-bag, she actually wore it well and it looked like a proper dress until closer inspection.
The local supermarket where I used to work has a dress up day, so the other day there were witches and mummies and ghosts at the checkouts, and even a freddie mercury!
I’ve got to say though, Haloween doesnt seem as big a deal as it used to, maybe it’s just because I’m not a kid anymore and dont witness the door to door fun and activities, but I think being a kid at haloween now wouldn’t be as good as it was when I was a kid. The world has gone too healthy and PC, and its taking the fun out of everything!

Halloween where I am from isn’t much of a celebration.
I only seen one person dressed up for it but then again I was only at my local I imagine it would have been different if I went to Stirling.

strikes me as a little ironic that to get into the land of the "free" you need a special card. What happened to it being free?
I’ve known about green cards for a long time but it’s only just suddenly struck me as ironic when I was reading that link MP posted.

It is the land of the free.
For the AMERICANS, WHICH were born here, and pay taxes, and have an american education.
I think its a good system, and people should be given hell just to vacation here.
