How important is Spelling?

I’ve noticed that RE members for the most part are HORRIBLE at spelling, do you think that it’s important top learn to spell correctly?
If so, Why?
If not, Why Not?
I certainly can’t spell very well, but I use the Google Toolbar Spell Check, and by it’s constant corrections, it has improved my spelling somewhat as I finally see the mistakes so often that I remember the correct way to spell after a while.

Yeah, people who don’t use proper grammar and punctuation tend to be immature. That’s just what I’ve noticed though, nothing’s been proven yet. It also looks better and is easier to read if people type like normal god damned human beings.

Yes I think it is VERY important. It’s easier to read good spelling than "lyk u guyz shud rate me gd!". I hate people who type like idiots. We should kill them.

I dont spell check my posts genereally. I mean if ive switched letters around ill change it but if i spell "mabey" "meby" a few times, meh, i could give a fuck

I seem to be noticing people who normally do not type with proper grammer or capitalization are doing it in this forum.
People who use chatspeak are so lazy...I can’t stand it. Same with not capitalizing there sentences, or using proper grammar. How do you spell grammer or grammar?

I saw a fucking pop up ad saying:
"free stuff 4 ur cell fone u cant get anywhere else", or something like that. Is typing like a retard the hip thing to do now-a-days? Seriously, it is sooo much easier to type normally. It hurts my fingers to type like that. I also hate when people say plz and shit. The only acronyms I use are the lol,rofl, lmao, brb, etc., the acronyms everyone uses. I especially hate when people replace words like "your" and "for" and "be" and "to" with shit like ur, 4, b, 2, etc. Stop butchering the English language you fucking communist!

I capatalize the first letter in a sentance. Capatalizing i’s is a bitch, and apostrophes only when nessissary (like when i say "i’s" instead of saying "is")

When I first got here, I typed with correct spelling, although I was a little sloppy, and no capitalization. I also used words like "ur" (I think I said ur a few times in my BB gun egg). After a while, I realized that most of the respected members typed correctly, so I did. I didn’t post too much before I was around level 8-9 either. Now I type like I’m writing something for class, except for proof-reading it. I’ve noticed that I make alot of typos in which I replace one letter for another.
