This idea has pissed me off because no one knows jack shit about it! I have the basics on "Bunker" Building, but I would like to know what would be the most effective design YET the most cheapest way to build one? The hard part is to keep water from getting in.(not rain but water going through the soil!)
P.S.And no not for paintball

Yeah, good luck on that. That is going to take a lot of time, money, and experience. I am sure you will have to have some sort of permit to build that in the first place. Not to mention all the pipes and wires down there.

Yeah...me and my friends are building a viking style house on the mountan that i make so many eggs on but nothing like that ours is just to keep our stuff dry.

Its more along the lines of spare time bunker I dont plan on it being extensive but at least have it 6’ft high, 12’ft long, 8’ft wide. AT THE VERY LEAST!

If you wanted to make a pretty small one, not too far underground, you could pre-assemble a "box" big enough for you to do whatever you need it for, and then just dig a hole as deep, long and wide as the box is, and drop it in. Then, re-cover it. Digging a hole like that would probably take a good amount of time, and you would want to coat the box in some sort of water repellant or a thin layer of cement or something. It wouldn’t be easy, but no method of building an underground room would.

i would say go with cinder blocks like they make a basement. or metal walls/rooof would keep out water....or you could even use wood and put tarps on the outside and roof..hope this helps, plz send me the final plans i wanna see what this looks like .i always wanted to make one but never had the material

Yes Clegg, but not really a civil engineer, I was aiming towards a aerospace/aeronautical engineer. I’d go for aerospace first.

Fuck you dip shit! I bet at least one person knows how to make a goddamn bunker. And it dont take an engineer to figure out how to make sure A fucking hole dont get water in it! Thats the main thing I do want to learn. The rest isnt as important but I am partially interested in other plans also.

Anything you manage to make will be shitty because you dont have funding or knowledge that the military or other people who make bunkers have. Also, I doubt all the information needed to make a good quality bunker can be explained to you in a forum, its one of those things you learn over time.

I think I see what you are saying DarkNinja....... but I would need to lay a concrete base for cinderblocks....or at least a hard stable one. My Masonary skills are Fair.....I might be able to try what your speaking of. But when you say "metal" do you mean tin? Tin would be hard to create a waterproof seal with.

-You dig a hole
-What surrounds the hole?
-SOIL AND OR DIRT
What does dirt and water make?
