This is an open call for Egg Mods, duties include :
Duties include:
- Deleting inappropriate Eggs
- Deleting spam Eggs
- Placing Eggs in proper categories
- Deleting inappropriate Egg comments
Perks include:
- Greater influence when ranking Eggs
- Nifty ‘Egg Moderator’ title
Candidates must be level 5 or higher and visit often. Create a short 100-300 word reason why you should be elected, send to me by message before May 9th.
Please keep in mind, because of the nature of this position, you will not be given any warnings if you abuse your power, your account will simply be deleted regardless of your level or time on the site.
If you are already in the Mod election, please wait to apply until after Friday to submit your application (winners of the Forum Mod Election can not run for Egg Mod)
Election will be held week of May 9th – May 13th. Top two candidates will be elected, position is held for 6 months. Any questions, ask here

Hey weasel what if someone deletes there own egg and frames the egg mod by saying "the egg mod deleted my egg" How do you determine that, if someones does that?

I am applying for the position of Egg Mod. As many of you, including Ihatenames, are aware, I have been pushing for Egg Mods to be put into place through my Blogs and Forum posts. Names himself responded to my eggmails, saying he would keep me in mind for the job. Maybe he was humouring me, but hey, it’s recognition. I think I would make an ideal egg mod because I myself have thought keeping Rotteneggs "clean", in a sense, is one of the most important tasks possible. What, after all, is RottenEggs without the Eggs? I myself have many good eggs that I have painstakingly written and tested out myself over the years (I’m proud that I can actually say years and be honest), good enough for a past mod to give me this account solely because of egg quality (it’s worth adding that I used to be FlyingBeefStew). I strongly believe in keeping this site intact, with out all the spam. So I propose we start a little campaign of our own: Clean Up RE! Post your support, and don’t forget to vote!

i would like to be an egg mod. but since there are only 2 positions i will not apply. defiler and geoblood are definatly the best for the job.
those kids look at every single egg and have always been determained to stop the spamers. nobody looks at more eggs then defiler and geoblood.
can i help campaign you guys? (geoblood and defiler)

Defiler, if you and me were the moderators we probably would make a good team. I mean, you on one hand would be like the "bad cop" and be real strict and if anyone needed help on deciding whether or not to make an egg I would help them. Anyways, I would completely take it seriously, and help you stop the spam. Thanks.

I say, at the very least, 4 or 5 egg mods... Names could have done it, but didn’t because it was too big a job for one guy. 2 helps, but it’s not enough.
