It’s 2:20 over here im bored and want to make some sodium but on other eggs i have had mixed reports on whether or not you can use a gas stove, could someone please give me a final answer thanks.

You have to some how begin by obtaining some salt. Then iver an open flame heat the salt to about 70-80 degrees farenheight. Once you do that you have to add add some ice and rapidly bring it back down to room temperature. The sodium will seperate from the chlorine. You will be left with pure sodium in the container. Watch out for the clorine though because it turns into a harmfull gas.
