I may be wrong, but has RottenEggs lost it’s ’humph’?
Since stealing and pyrotechnics have been forbidden, people started posting only about computer tricks, stupid stuff and LoLLeRcRaP. No more detailed semi-legal fun, no more pot-related tidbits.
Users became 77% pussies and whenever they are not pleased with your egg, you become a faggot cock sucka, your sexual orientation is questionned and you get rated zero everywhere it is possible to be so.
I stopped reading RE like before and now I’m more on Rorta.net forums.

I just talk in the forums...really the only good eggs now adays are the How To, Exploration, and some of the accepted Firecracker eggs.
The rest pretty much suck.

RE’s purpose was an exploration and prank site, but it turned in to a site for juveniles that had a few tricks, some clever, but the purpose of this site was lost a long time ago. All the prank eggs are stupid so it’s basically the eploration eggs that sorta keep RE "on topic".

Really, the whole "prank" database of the world is pretty much here, and most pranks aren’t indepth to require a long *egg worthy* explanation. Eggs (to me) are basically a different format of forum where you moderate the responses, and your posts get rated. But to post a "topic" in such a "forum" their is a much higher criteria. Personally, I believe most of the eggs made on theft and drugs were pure bullshit, and weasel isn’t really worried about the legal liabilities of it, he’s more worried that somebody may act this out (hence smoking shit in a drug egg) and it result in a death. That puts the eye on him, disclaimer or not.
The computer trick eggs usually have good information and provide screenshots (which are easy to attain). This adds interest and value to eggs, and thats why they’ve faired better than the expected "prank" eggs.

RE is just fine, a forum of this size is a work in progress and CONTINUALLY changing. Things in the world have changed, it is no longer acceptable or legal to post things like the things like BOMBS or THEFT or DRUGS or any of the millions of illegal things, especially when you think of the myriad of young minds that could be polluted with potentially dangerous and also potentially INCORRECT information.
No one on RE is an EXPERT, so if a Nüb decided to make an egg on one of these BANNED subjects, and the info in it is incorrect, someone could have negative repercussions due to the mistakes, so basically, it’s better to NOT deal with them AT ALL.
If you MUST have these things in your life, I would suggest looking elsewhere on the vast Internetz, I’m sure others will take the chances to post these things and take the chances that RE no longer takes.
