Well, I went to the Midnight showing of Spider-Man here with some friends. It is now almost 3:30, and so I figured, what do/did you guys think of the movie?
My Opinion: I thought it was an exceptional movie. Sure, the transitions could’ve been better, but it tied up some loose ends that you wouldn’t have even thought about from the first 2. I’m not talking anything like some insane plot from the "Saw" series, but, there was a lot of trickery involved and such. All in all, the choreography was sweet, some of the lines were pretty humorous, and the acting was genuine.

There’s too much hype over it. All these promotional shit make me sick.
It’s a big name movie and some of these advertising bullshit wasn’t necessary.
I might go watch it tonight.

I thought it was fairly decent, although, I think it would have been better if Spiderman got to wear the black suite a wee bit longer.

My friend was talking about going to go see it in IMAX. That sounds pretty fucking amazing even if the movie plot sucks.

well of course the game sucks, it’s based off of a movie!
no one buys video games based off of movies especially movies based off video games.
im actually surprised that you guys liked it, i thought they would have ruined the, now trilogy, by now. i guess ill go see it sometime

FearTheClown, you’re the biggest "Super-Market Monkey Slapper" on this website. I feel that way too. But, they need the money. It cost them like 50 million to make or something like that to make. But, the effects in it I thought were badass, and the choreography of the fight scenes was pretty wicked.

Slash, do it. Trust me, you won’t be sorry. I got in for free to the IMAX because some of my friends work there.
Also, another reason why you should see it is because Topher Grace ("Foreman" from That 70’s Show) plays Venom which was pretty cool I thought.

Ehh... I thought it was alright. But it was much different than the first two, which I though was good and bad.
I say good because it seemed like it tried to refer to the comic book a bit more. I could see how the director tried to reflect on the original cheesy and corniness of the comic books. But this also got kind of annoying, I mean Toby Maguire cried more than Dunst in the movie. For the longest time I was thinking in the movie " is there a new director?" It was just sooo different than the first two, which seemed like a more modern take on the spiderman series.

Yeah, some lines were cheesy, but the funnier ones made up for it. As for tobey, he only cried during the end of it. I loved the fact that he became a total prick halfway through the movie and wore his collars on his shirts upward. I lol’d throughout that entire time.
