RHCP is a very influential band in terms of musicality. Their "funk-punk" style made almost all on their own because of Hillel Slovak’s and Anthony Kiedis’ like for the funk music mixed together with the punk scene in LA in the late 80’s makes for a very interesting sound.
Baby Appeal

I don’t usually listen to either, but Foo Fighters are better hands down.
I usually listen to Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, The Fratellis, The Killers, Modest Mouse, At The Drive In, Cursive, some Plain White T’s, and a splash of Taking Back Sunday.

I like some older RHCP, their new stuff sucks though, Foo Fighters have always been good, so I like them better.

I love the Foo Fighters (Dave went to my school). RHCP comes first for me though. They’re the Beatles of our generation. Their old stuff is better but Stadium Arcadium shows a softer side which has a lot of melody. Woot!

Yeah I like older RHCP stuff also. Has anyone read Scar Tissue? If not, its Anthony Keidis’ book, its super good..check it out sometime.
