I know, this thread was kind of a joke but I’m also sick of assholes like Al Gore and Hillary Clinton making up bullshit political causes and using them to get elected. There’s no global warming, no racism in the US, and the drinking age should be back to 18 because cigarettes are way fucking worse than a glass of beer. But no, Al Gore stands there with his millions of endorsement dollars, 8 SUV’s, and a mansion that uses more electricity than some small towns and tells us there’s a global warming problem and it’s all our fault. How fucking stupid can people be?

There is global warming. The debate going on right now is about whether humans are responsible or not. People in the Bible Belt argue against it because the Bible doesn’t allow humans to alter what God created. Gore is right, but that doesn’t mean he’s not an idiot.

There’s too many factors to consider when thinking about global warming, it’s really unclear what’s responsible for it. I’ve heard everything from wind shifts to massive volcanic eruptions to the classic "duhr, we did it!" all I know is that politicians throwing money at it and banging their tambourines isn’t going to do anything.

1. Global Warming IS REAL. 100%, no doubt, it exists and it is increasing drastically.
2. Global Warming is caused by the suns rays reflecting off the earth, going into the atmosphere, and getting stuck. This is a known fact, and a natural part of the Earths warming.
3. C02 gases thicken the atmosphere, in a way making the net that holds in heat stronger. As the percentage of C02 in the atmosphere increases, the hotter the earth becomes. This is a known, undisputed fact proved by over thirty years of research.
4. Fossil Fuels produce Co2 gases at an incredible rate. As does human agriculture and industry. This is also an undisputed fact.
5. Global Warming is real and is increasing. The only disputed fact as of now is the length of time in which it will occur.

As much as a prick he is with his gas chugging SUVs and Hummers we still should do something about it ourselvs in next 20 - 50 years if all ice is gone where are we to get our fresh drinking waters, or adapt to abnormal weathers.

It’s a danger but it’s not an EXTREME danger, I didn’t say anything about it not being real or not I said that there are a ton of factors to consider when debating how it got to be to the point it’s at. What I’m pissed off about is people like Al Gore and Hillary Clinton who claim they have all the answers when all they really do is make things worse. It’s only going to get worse if people like them keep getting elected into office, we should elect someone who will actually do something about it instead of using it as a campaign issue to get elected and pocket more money. They make the problem seem a lot worse than it really is, a perfect example of that being An Inconvenient Truth which is the movie that Al Gore made, ripe with political propaganda, voodoo pharmacology, and scare tactics to make people support him in his bullshit war that he and other politicians have concocted.

But some people think global warming is a natural process.
It showed a graph that showed a line rising rising rising and then it fell drastically.
Why did it fall? Ice age.

Looking at water cycle in details, only source of water is from the ice, while underground water can take a million year to form.
So, if we consume all that water and there no more ice to make more fresh water where can we drink from the ocean?
and yet how do you suggest we remove "some of the shit into space" when most the ocean water is filled with brine shit w/ mercury and other poisons.

1."Dawginacar" read my post. Global Warming is not fake. It isn’t even being disputed as false.
2. The whole point of the global warming movement is to encourage the reduction of co2. Aka, planting trees. However, idiots like you who deny that it exists only add to the problem and vote down environmental bills that would do exactly what you say we should.
3. Yeah, the ice caps are pure fresh water. THEY’RE ALSO DROPING INTO THE OCEAN IN 3 SQUARE MILE BLOCKS. Not exactly the easiest thing to bottle.
4. Global Warming is a real an important issue. Rugbyballa Al Gore doesn’t pocket money, he donates the funds toward environmental research. That’s the whole fucking point. Al Gore isn’t using it as a campaign issue; he isn’t running for any political office. As for Hilary, IT IS A CAMPAIGN ISSUE. It is something that needs to be addressed, that people care about, and thus is a issue. If people decide to donate money to her because she says she wants to do something about Global Warming, than it is no other than any other issue such as gun control or abortion.

hey, Feeithepain78, no matter how much "scientific" information you have, you have no idea that global warming exists. wow, we had some weird weather this year "liek z0mG, t3h gl0b@1 W@rrm1ng". you stupid liberals, you believe in the propaganda the people you support feeds to you. the govt/scientists can tell you thers an ozone hole. for all you know, the earth could be flat. co2 doesnt magically appear, its been here the entire time since earth was formed. its not like were bringing it in from space, that would be different. wow, they show you some CGI pics of a blue sphere with a red circle on it. how do you know the ice caps are falling apart in 3 sq mi blocks? did you see this happen? did you take measurments? so what if they show footage of ice falling, anything can be created in the world of television. its the same thing as UFO believers showing you "proof" [stock footage, photographs, etc]. according to your belief in global warming, you should be believing in ALIENS and BIGFOOT and MOTHMAN too. also, you have no proof that your money is making it to scientists and researchers.
