I think if say you kill a man, you should die the same why u killed the man, say u killed two people make him suffer, kill more than 5 inject him/her with canser.

Death penalty is very fair...Why would you want to spare a person who heartlessly killed another person?If you put him in jail you would just be wasting your tax dollars on his food and such.So I say just off the bastard.Plus death penalty makes people think twice before they commit a crime like murder.

If I ever become a judge, I am going to filter through people’s BS and give them the worst sentence possible. I am so tired of hearing people say they were insane at the time. Yeah, you were insane enough to doge oncoming cars, police, and road blocks for 2 fucking hours before crashing.

However, it does stop repeat offenders (kinda hard to kill a second time if you dead).
and, as was mentioned, economic reasons.
plus, as far as innocents, yes, we may kill some. but without the death penalty, they would still be in jail.
I think it should be only for really bad things. Only cold-blooded murder, maybe even just cold-blooded murder without a good reason

i dont belive in killing to much, but i do agree with capital and corpral punishment. and it should be held in public and on public TV.
those who kill people arent afriad becuase they can get off, or at worst jail for 5 years and off early for good behavoir. if you want people to learn that killing is bad, them show them why its bad... if you kill someone, you will be killed.
they hide all punishment behind closed doors.."oh its cruel, our children shouldnt watch"... the reason its being done is because the children are never shown true life. they are stuck in a false and safe reality were nothing really matters because you dont have to fear death, they fear being an outcast more than death.
our whole social order is fucked up, kill those in prison for life, saves the tax payers a shit load of money that could b put to good use. also anyone sentanced to death should be made to pass on their estate to the state to help pay for expensise. ie... the bullet and the cost for tv broadcasting time.
screw this "painless" death stuff. do u think they were nice to their victoms? someon has to be made an example of, befor others stop doing it. problem is no one wants to make an example of someone because its "wrong"
i could rant for days on this.
