In fairfax, some teachers apparently did another "work to the rule" type thingies, working only 7.5 hours. They want more money. Currently, a starting teacher with absolutely no experience gets 40,000. Average salary is 57,958. Yep, 58000. For teaching. Granted, fairfax is one of the richest counties (they said some teachers couldnt afford to live here... boo hoo), but 58 grand for people that work 9 months a year, get weekends and various holidays off, some have periods in the day off, get the rewards of shaping the minds of future generations, and a lot of after-hours work is caused by themselves. bitchin bout how much extra time they have to spend grading stuff... BITCH! Then dont assign so much fuckin hw! Dont make so many subjective assignments that you have to read in depth!
and work to the rule? WTF? Most salaried workers work unpaid overtime bitches! And they work year-round too! FUCKIN BITCHES! they want starting salaries of 43,050. And they want to raise the salaries of teachers with masters degrees.
anywho... your thoughts? apparently its cuz surrounding counties are raising their salaries, and Fairfax wants to stay the best of the best. fuckers.

well, i reckon that if the teachers pulled their heads out of their arses and looked at how greedy they are, they might stop talking shit about low wages

theres always gonna be assholes and dumbasses in every job, theres a few cool teachers i know, sounds to me your more jealous at thier money, if i had the chance to teach somthing i liked, shop or gym, hell yeah i would...

theyve also had scandals with overtime pay for various govt worker types. iunno all the details exactly, but i know theyve had regular cops bringing in like 200k a year. and now theyre investigating other types, like bus drivers n stuff i think.
