I personally would rather have a girlfriend than just a fuck buddy. Because you just fuck the other person...none of the good stuff like cuddling and walking around the mall and shit.

I like long term relationships, i met Mister Garg when i was 14.
We’ve been together this whole time! and im 20 now.
I feel like he knows me and we can talk to each other really easily.
With us its all about mutual respect, and communication. If youve got that something solid that will last for years to come.
I want a guy who know what i want and is on the same page with me. Theres just some things that only come by being in a committed relationship.....

relationships are stupid when your in high school, your missing out on so much shit, you can have a relationship at any point in your life, but you can only party every weekend and make an ass out of your self for so long. i say do shit you might regret to or you will regret it for sure (if that makes any sense).

I would vote for "both" but it’s not on there. Relationships aren’t that fun, really, it’s more a security thing than anything else. If they were so great then there would be no such thing as a "hook up".
Relationships are boring and I personally dislike having someone else around 24 hours a day. However, there is always going to be someone you want who will insist on committment and after awhile it just seems logical, so you fall back into it even though you don’t really want to. I am currently struggling ("struggling" is the right word, too) to keep from getting in a committed relationship with someone I’ve known for six years now. I just wanted for us to be friends/fuck buddies and the idea of us living together disturbs me.
On the other side of the coin most "hook ups" are more of a relationship. I mean, if you like screwin somebody once you’ll probably do it again at some point. More trips to the candy store equals more emotion. More emotion equals having to be careful of each other’s feelings, and so on.
So anyway I would vote for "both"-- it’s ideal to have a fairly committed partner who’s financially independent so you have someone to go on vacation with, go out to dinner with, etc., but also to have one or two less committed arrangements with others who do not care who else you sex, as long as they get some every so often.
And of course you have to be careful about STDs. I’ve never had one and sure don’t want to start. So the type of "hook up" that occurs at a drunken raver is pretty much out of the question for me, it has to be someone I’ve known for at least a few days.
